The Institute of Internal Auditors – UK and Ireland (IIA) has changed the structure of the pathways to its quali f i cations, introducing the opportunity for CCAB-qualified accountants (or equivalent) to successfully complete the IIA Diploma in Internal Audit Practice and obtain PIIA designation through a single case-study module and a professional experience journal. This means the final award can be achieved within six months
